Walking in the Word provides daily Bible devotion for women. It offers wisdom and insight for applying Biblical truths to the ups and downs of everyday life. Our goal is to empower, inspire and transform your daily walk with Jesus Christ.
What is Forgiveness?
Are believers considered clean by God? And what should our attitude be toward others who have hurt us?
Two types of forgiveness appear in the Bible: God’s pardon of our sins, and our obligation to forgive others. This subject is so important that our eternal destiny depends upon it.
31 Days of Forgiveness leads us on a biblical and compassionate walk through the depths of our hurt, pain, unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment, and anger.
If you commit to walking this journey, God will redeem your pain—pain you may not know you’re carrying—and your life will never be the same.

31 Days of Self-Love
Too often I have found myself seeking refuge in someone else to fulfill me – to make me happy – to motivate me to do this, and to do that. I have complained about others not being committed (to their word, to their work, to me, to…you name it). I have been frustrated with others not being committed to me, not doing what they said they would do, not being there for me the way they said they would be there for me.
However, I had no idea that the very thing we are most frustrated with can be, and often is, a direct result of what we are not doing – for ourselves. We often look outside of ourselves to be fulfilled, and if we continue to do this, we will continue to fight a never-ending battle, and therefore we will never be satisfied, we will never be fulfilled because we expect someone else to be the source of our happiness and well-being.
31 Days of Prayer
Prayer is such a powerful force. We underestimate it so much. Prayer can move mountains if only we would let it. If only you would realize just how powerful prayer can be, you would never feel hopeless.
You are invited to join the Women of Proverbs 31 in December for 31 Days of Prayer. Each day brings a Word of Mediation and prayer. Let’s spend the last month of each year in PRAYER and agreement with one another.
